“When the Lamb opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, "Come and see!" I looked and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine, and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth."

I wanted to portray it rather inconspicuous looking. Maybe even a little trustworthy at the first sight. After all, Death isn't evil. Shouldn't be.

Sorry, reminded me of this song for some reason... I really love the colours. The horse looks rather calm, even maybe a bit... sad? That is true that Death is not evil. Still, no one can avoid it...
Your "Horses of the Apocalypse" series is just mind blowing. Each illustration is filled with atmostphere, each title says for itself. That's amazing}
