Description

And since we're both always-forgetting-deadlines guys, me and *abosz007 are uploading this laaate.

I still hope we'll get accepted. I freaking loved working on this and the outcome is pretty amazing too.

I did the lines, shading and effects, Tyler did the flats and background.

Story

Damon fixed his uniform a bit after tacking Fancy and looked over at Joey "wow you really look like an englishman now Joey" he grinned. "take care with the fangirls when you leave the arena"

Joey snorted at that, clearly highly amused. "You're one to talk." He said, glancing at Damon then. "Altough, I'm quite used to seeing you in a uniform now." He leaned a little to pat Ilu before straightening again. "That's our first pas de deux where we actually look classy and not like teenage boys costumed in funny clothes." He laughed.

He thought of his words for a second and laughed "oh my..god that is truuuee. i neever thought of that, now lets hope the serious look will not bring us bad luck." Fancy nommed nervously on the unfamilar tack, somethimes trying to nudge at Ilu if she felt the same.

"Oh I'm quite certain that we'll rock this even if we were to fail miserably." Joey replied and put on a confident grin. He felt oddly fine in the historic clothing. It gave him a feeling of simple royalty and he had to admit, Ilu looked fantastic in the old tack too. "The rain adds to the atmosphere, doesn't it?" He asked, smilling as Fancy chewed on the bit. "I just hope our girls won't slip."

"weehehell..there could be no better weather to perform dressage to a war themed kur.." he looked at the arena "yeah lets take care with sharp turns then. ready?"

Joey looked in the same direction like Damon, glancing over the arena and nodding. "Ready." He sat down into the saddle correctly, took the reins and gave a sign to the tribunes to start the music. It was when the first beat ringed trough the air and the melody started to play that he relaxed and breathed out. It was their time again.

Damon had a mad grin on, it was always pure joy to ride with Joey, the guy seemed to read minds at every move and was in perfect match with his horse. Fancy stepped forward eagerly to start the show,
if there was any horse Damon could ride flawless through a performance it was her. He hoped for the best, and the cheering of the audience seeing the known pair entering was motivating enough.

Ilu rounded her gait and collected into the reins, knowing what is going on. She was no beginner. No green horse. She was a professional and so was her rider. Joey pushed her forward, siding with Damon and Fancy. he missed these Pas De deuxes. It was always great to partner up with the Royal Pirate stable's rider and Joey had to admit that even if they were to fail this time, he wouldn't mind. He sat on his once-in-a-lifetime horse and next to his side was one of the most famous riders of these days and a great friend to him. He smiled trough the pouring rain. There's no such feeling as the one he felt that moment. The pair turned their horses, facing the arena and with a slight, genuine smile, they entered in.

This is truly, and utterly a amazing piece of art. It is so amazing I have a hard time to express myself xD
I absolutely love the blueish feel against Ilu's abd Weinebene's blood bay coats. It is such a contrast and such a effect that get your attention right away.
Damons and Joey's costumes are so elegant and... francly... respective. If someone came up to me like that on a show, I would shrink in that persons shadow. Amazing details and colors.
And, I love the fact that they are each others mirror as they are cantering along next to each other... one going in a right shape, and the other in a left... just like a mirror
Background... also amazing ^^ what more can I say about this?

This is really one epic picture! I'm happy for your guys that yuo still got the change to get it in the competition. I really wish you all the luck. I love the picture, really like the motion and power from it. Love the details from the things, the colors, even the water on the coat from the horses. And again, and always, that blue eyes from Ilu is jumping out

i had that one time with a western picture. I have only fantasies (and one realistic xD) and they don't allowed nordanners, so I though. ahh! my fantasy can join. Was it not accepted, but on the end she made a extra class for fantasies
