Description

I'm back, yay!
This chapter took it's time. Had the image finished for a long time now, but writer's block is probably even worse than art block. But I think I'm getting somewhere.

On the other note. Welcome this new girl!

Got her from Mapal quite some time ago, she'll take a big part in the story, so get ready!

Story

Zillah was well aware of the fact that she was keeping everyone on the edge. After all, she still was the boss of the Fallen Angel stables. It was her job to keep everyone going. Keep the stables going. And yet, why did she feel so wrong? It felt as if the world's weight had suddenly fallen on her shoulders and she could do nothing but watch it bury her deeper and deeper.

Selling the stables. Oh dear, what has she gotten herself into? Sat in her office chair, she rubbed her eyes and sighed. She was getting the calls already. From the moment she put that ad up on the website, she would get two or three calls from all around Europe. Fallen Angel was suddenly the hottest thing that was up for sale. And surely, she put a mask on her face and explained everything to the potentional buyers with a sweet, cheerful tone in her voice, but deep, deep inside it was tearing her apart. Every call she's gotten. Because she knew, that the one person who would invest into this place was out there. And maybe she already spoken with them.

She wondered. How long till she hands the papers to the new owner. How long till she moves out. How long will she hold on.

Because the pressure was unbearable. Shifting a little in her seat she glanced out of the prostorious window. She could hear it. The sound of the stables. The sound of her life. There were people down there who believed in her and she, in a very unexpected way, betrayed them in a matter of second, when she told them the stables are going to get a new owner. And it got harder when she realized that their fate is in her hands, because most of them actually lived in that very mansion. It was their home.

Zillah chuckled ironically. She was no goddess to decide for them. And yet she was doing this. Of course she had her reasons. Reasons she didn't tell anyone. But it was no wonder to her now, that most of them hid themselves from her. Turned their backs on her, just like she did on them.

First of all, I love this picture, it's so warm and happy, like a total contrast to the sad story of FAS being sold and staff maybe losing their jobs with the new owner etc...
Your story - as usual- is touching and well written, easy to read and follow. There is a lot of emotion and you know exactly how to express them in words. Big Respect for that!

I'm pretty curious how it's going on, I do hope that Leo will decide right

This is stunning absolutely amazing! I love how you've managed to make an unnatural horse seem like it could be so real ^^ It has a certain soft feel to it that I like as well, a really calm and restful atmosphere
