A little update on Bertieboy
I know I haven't written much about the horses in a while, but I had my reasons and I'll get to that.
well..NEWS. Remember when I said that Lambert is a czech warmblood? Well...no. I knew there was something off about that, so I did some digging around his pedigree. He's 50% hannoverian (straight german line) and 50% thoroughbred (straight british line) which is like WHOA for me. I mean... a hannoverian? A thoroughbred? Having a mix of my top two favourite sports breeds? Riiiiiiiiight.
Other than that, we've been jumping. Clearly. I found out he's much better over jumps than being a dressage horse, which is fine by me, since I still can ride and compete Jantar (Another horse that I had to take in, since they're like a duo of gay brothers with Bert) in dressage.
We're bulding a new, bigger arena for jumping since the one we have is awfully small.
Aaand yeah. Bert is keeping me above all the crap that's been going on in the stables and I can be never thankful enough for that. I swear to God, if anyone ever doubts this horse again, I'm going to stab them.
